'Mock OSHA' Self-Audit

July 10
10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Have you considered whether your organization is in compliance with OSHA? In this one-hour webinar we will survey the OSHA compliance assistance tools available to employers for a self-inspection or “mock osha” self-audit. We will discuss such standards as hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined spaces, personal protective equipment, flammable and combustible materials, electrical, walking-working surfaces, powered industrial trucks, hand/portable power tools, exits, medical/first aid, and emergency action plans to be included in your internal audit. This course will also include a discussion on methods for identifying additional workplace hazards that may fall under an area of OSHA compliance, employee training requirements, posting requirements, and the newly updated 2023 OSHA Small Business Handbook for additional compliance assistance. 

Violence in the Workplace & Active Shooter

July 26
2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

This one-hour webinar will teach you to understand the basic principles associated with violence, the cost of workplace violence, and the volatility cycle. We will examine the five warning signs of escalating behavior and learn to apply an appropriate response to the situation. This course will also identify tips to help you de-escalate a volatile situation. You will learn how to analyze your workplace to ensure your employees, consumers, and guests are protected from violent intruders. This course utilizes the “Run, Hide, Fight” method as a response to an active shooter situation, as outlined by the Federal Department of Homeland Security.

Safety Committee Certification

August 7
10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Is your organization forming a new safety committee or does your committee need annual certification training? This webinar meets the requirements necessary to fulfill your certification obligations as required by the State of Pennsylvania Department of Labor. Not located in Pennsylvania? That’s okay! This course will provide any safety committee with a basic understanding of the following principles: Committee Formation & Structure, Hazard Identification, Accident Investigation, Substance Abuse Awareness & Prevention (including the new Opioid Awareness training), and Tips to Survive a Department of Labor Audit. 

Sexual Harassment, Hostile Work Environment, Diversity & Bullying

August 23
2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

This course provides an overview of workplace discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, bullying, and diversity. We will review each of these topics and train your employees to recognize and report incidents. Participants will learn about Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and other laws regarding harassment and discrimination. By the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to identify unacceptable behaviors and work towards meaningful solutions to achieve a positive work environment.

Abuse Prevention

September 11
10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

When it comes to abuse prevention, is your organization complacent, compliant, or committed? During this one-hour course, you will learn how to bridge gaps in your current abuse prevention program, including: formalized policies & procedures, screening & selection, training, effective monitoring & supervision, internal feedback, consumer participation, and administrative practices. Learn why it’s so hard to obtain abuse coverage with higher limits and lower retentions, and what you can do about it.

Cyber Liability Training

October 2
10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

This course begins with an overview of recent cyber-attacks and the most common cyber threats to organizations. We discuss how to estimate the financial impact of an attack on your organization and provide you with 5 key risk management controls to minimize or prevent risk. The course also includes information on coverage gaps found in the Commercial General Liability and Property policy, and why it’s so important to purchase cyber liability insurance. We will review at key coverages that are a must have in every cyber liability policy. This course also covers passwords, software updates, encryption, setting data access levels, BYOD, new hire training, and what to do after an attack.

Fire Safety Training

October 25
2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

In this webinar, we go back to the basics to learn how fires start and how to identify potential hazards to that may lead to a fire. You will learn to how to plan and develop well, thought-out, fire safety procedures. We will also examine the different classes of fire and appropriate response, as well as how to use and inspect portable fire extinguishers.

Driving Defensively

November 29
2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Help reduce behind-the-wheel accidents by equipping your drivers with the information they need to drive defensively. During this one-hour seminar, your drivers will learn techniques to prevent or minimize motor vehicle accidents. Insurance carriers recognize this course for drivers with MVR issues. Some Personal Auto carriers will also recognize this course for premium discounts. This course covers: The 10 Habits of Defensive Driving, “RUA” Formula, the “What If” Formula, Conditions You Can & Cannot Control, Steering Out of a Skid, Seat Belts & Air Bag Safety, the 6 Most Unsafe Driving Behaviors, and Impaired/Distracted/Fatigued Driving.
